Meet the Boost
Less rocker = More speed
More V in hull & narrower tail= Faster reactions.
232cm x 63cm

I have have had mine for 3 weeks and I love it! It's so fast both down and along the face and carries it's speed off the lip like nothing else I have tried. It turns slightly differently to the merlin or neutron but is still really slashy and fast. I was expecting the paddle out to be hard compared to the merlin because of less rocker but it seems to punch through nearly anything and is far faster across the flat water. Overall I think its an amazing boat and would reccomend it!

I recently got one for my fourteen year old son, he's mumbled some teenage words which I didn't understand but the general jist was that it's brilliant. Watching it surf it is as Jack describes, super super fast down the line but with the added advantage of hugely increased V in the hull which means it will loosen the boat up and make it want to go from rail to rail quicker, this is probably the difference jack's refering to. It's got a lower cockpit profile so you can really crank over into a turn without dragging your knee in the wave face. If it's the right size for you it's a really great boat.

I tried the Boost few weeks back. More foot room, good hull length and volume, slightly bigger cockpit, easier to get in and out, with the lower front deck, This allows the knees to be more locked in a comfortable sitting postion

Like the guy's say. The paddle out is good, same as for the merlin and Neutron RV, there is the right amount of volume in the stern. Down the line speed is fast! I was out in the surf with Glyns lad and he was making sections that I couldn't in my reflex. It was as if he had a turbo fitted. With the V in the hull rail to rail transfer is quick and easy.

Well I thought I'd better have a go myself seeing that a lot of the boys have got their hands on a boost and at 15 stone I thought that I'd be a bit on the big side for it. The wave was about 2ft and lacked power but I was still able to get a lot out of this boat. It takes off well and is fun. I was able to get some very tight turns and a lot of speed down the line even with a small wave. It did drive well out of the turn and hit the lip hard but felt quite light as it come round which must have meant I was carrying more speed through the turn. Haha! Looks like I'll be paddling this while Tams is at work from now on. I Hope to get it on something big later in the week.

I picked up my boost on Saturday morning. I love it! I went out 10am today at bantham rip. I was on my own and couldn't believe my luck.4,5,6ft dropins with long pealing rides. The boost was awsome, so fast and manoevrable, it doesnt drop of the back when it doubles up, a couple of strokes and I was droping back in, it just keeps going. I cant wait to get to Kimmerage. Malcolms made an ace job of mine, full xtec and carbon deck it weighs 8kg. If I was you buy one, you will love it.

What a pleasure of an afternoon! I'm sure small clean 2' surf and a gentle offshore breeze coming in on a sunny afternoon had something to do with it - but the Boost played a big part too.

I haven't surfed often in the past two years but I have had the chance to try lots of different surf boats. If they were all lined up on the beach, it would be the Boost I'd pick up to take out and play. I found it well balanced, and it seemed to change direction and move around easily on the wave. Compared to the Merlin and Neutron, the entry rocker is more gradual - I found it seemed to glide very smoothly whilst surfing, but it still seemed to skip up over the waves easily on paddle-out. I imagine you'd need to be more careful taking a steep drop to angle the boat early along the wave than in a Merlin. For me, I found it easier than the Merlin to catch waves, and I prefer having less volume than the Neutron. That's what suits me - for yourself, try several and the right boat is the one that suits you best.

Perhaps more important, I like a boat to sit comfortably and easily around me. The knee braces and cockpit are an inch or two lower than the Merlin and Neutron, which I don't find it easy to lock myself in (perhaps it's my shape and the angle of the knee braces). I find this a better, more natural position to fit the boat. It also means I can roll it very easily. The Bullitt and Bullitt S are a good fit like this for me too, but they are bigger boats and good for other days. The Boost felt like I was taking a toy out to play with - a serious toy for lots of fun!
