The Shred perfectly describes what is perhaps Jim Snyder's  most popular squirt design when it slices up an eddy line with dizzying mysteries, black attacks and screws.  Its localized foot bumps are ideal for individuals whose inseam measures 28"-32". Its 9' 6" length is tipped with pointy ends to minimize drag at the distant ends which have maximum leverage on the boat as it rips through the water. The Shred is designed for the highest degree of control in very difficult squirt maneuvers, such as transitional moves when the boat is beyond the vertical plane and steering during mystery moves.  This is a result of the soft chines and rounded wing-like leading edge.  These smooth features allow you to mush into a bazillion adjustments during critical junctures instead of having the action dictated by the more limiting lines of the more two-dimensional flat hulled kayaks. The rocker is kicked up a bit to afford a bit of sea-worthiness in tough whitewater..
