Started Kayaking :

I started kayaking in 2003 with Bude Canoe Club and after a year of general paddling I started to play around in the surf with the Club and it all developed from there.

Started competing in Surf :

I started competing at the beginning of 2005 at the Shoreline Plastic Fantastic event.

Worlds/National Results – Rankings:

Winning the Junior British Open - 2005,

World Cup Qualifier and Junior British Open 3 rd - Ireland 2006,

Junior World Cup 4 th – Peniche, Portugal 2006,

Home International Competition, Portugal 2006 – Competed in the HP Class for the England Team (England won the event).

Currently ranked 10 th overall in England in the HP class.

Kayaking High's :

Coming 4 th in the Junior World Cup in Peniche, Portugal

Competing in Canoe polo at National League Division 3,

Paddling the river Dart and Tavy at high water levels

Kayaking Lows:

Arriving at the beach to find no surf.

Aims' and Ambitions:

To win the Junior HP and IC World Championship in Mundaka 2007, and to make the most of 2008, my final year as a junior.and move on into the seniors.

I would also like to become a competent river paddler – good enough to paddle the Upper Dart and take on some rivers in the French Alps.
