" The Impulse from Mega feels like you're sat in a "normal" kayak. Wide thigh position and foot room make for the most comfortable Mega boat I have ever sat in. It's wide at the tail making it really easy to catch waves with, and slides and slashes through top turns easily. The width also makes bottom turns feel a little more drawn out than in a narrower boat, but can still approach and attack the lip, if you apply some technique. It's an ideal boat for river paddlers to transition into surf boats, as the familiarly of the seating position, and the stability of the wide hull, will suit those who've perhaps struggled with surf specific boats in the past.
